“Making magic” is one way Kalman likes to think of his work, a challenge that encompasses addressing his clients’ needs and maximizing the design potential of each project. Particularly appealing to Kalman are “projects that aspire to elevate the identity and brand of our clients,” he says. “I love the intersection of crafting beautiful work and making our clients more successful.” Kalman admires Theodore Roosevelt as “someone who lives life to the fullest,” and has a bit of that quality himself when it comes to musing about his dream vacation. “I am torn between golf in Scotland and architecture tours through Italy,” he remarks. “Maybe both?”
