Meet John and you’ll quickly realize two things: he is driven by a passion for his work and is humbled by the opportunities his career presents. "Every project starts with a big idea, and this is where I am able to best serve our clients." he shares. "We have the privilege of working with incredibly smart, talented, and innovative clients, helping them crystalize their vision." As a design principal in our Phoenix office, John has put his talents to use delivering projects for clients across markets. His portfolio encompasses office, hospitality, higher education, civic, sports, entertainment, and retail environments. And as John’s role within the firm has evolved, so has his perspective on an architect’s responsibility for advancing the profession. "As your field of influence expands, you have to be able to delegate to affect the bigger picture," he responds. "I love working with young designers. They help keep it real." In his spare time, John draws, plays tennis and pickleball, and babies his dogs.
