Engineered Systems Names Brittany Fiema as “Top 20 Women to Watch in HVAC” for 2024
We are proud to announce that mechanical engineer, Brittany Fiema, has been selected by Engineered Systems Magazine as one of the “Top 20 Women to Watch in HVAC” in 2024.
Brittany joined SmithGroup as a full-time employee in 2013 and plays a key role in helping to advance the firm's efforts to develop highly sustainable projects for clients. She began her career with a focus on developing critically important HVAC systems to house the irreplaceable collections at projects that include the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Collections and Conservation Center in Washington, DC and the State Archive Preservation Facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Recent notable work also includes the new Administration Building and Visitors Center at the historic Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan.
An active member within the engineering profession, Brittany has been a board member for the ASHRAE Detroit Chapter for the past several years, including serving as the president in 2022-2023. In addition, she is an accomplished speaker, having presented at numerous conferences throughout her career.
